RamYash Mahavidyalaya, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, was established in 2008 with the vision of expanding opportunities for higher education among students of Prayagraj and nearby areas, particularly those from rural and semi-urban communities. The institution was founded with a commitment to make quality higher education accessible and to empower young learners through knowledge, values, and academic excellence.
At the time of its establishment, the college was granted affiliation by Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur. Subsequently, with the reorganization of university jurisdictions in Uttar Pradesh, the college is now affiliated with Prof Rajju Bhaiya University. Over the years, the institution has gradually expanded its academic programmes and currently offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Arts, Science, and Commerce, along with Teacher Education programmes.
The college is committed to providing quality education within the reach of students from rural backgrounds, economically weaker sections, and socially disadvantaged communities, thereby contributing to educational inclusion and regional development.
Since its inception, RamYash Mahavidyalaya has continuously worked toward creating a supportive academic environment that nurtures knowledge, ethical values, and social responsibility among students.
